Production Operatives

An opportunity to join a successful and rapidly growing business which is currently looking for individuals to join their team of Production Operatives in Avonmouth, working in a refrigerated environment slicing and packing meat.  
You will be joining a current workforce of 150+ employees working in a purpose built chilled food factory and all PPE will be provided, including safety boots
Experience of the food industry is not essential as a full Food Hygiene and Health & Safety training induction is given to all successful candidates.  However, written and spoken English is needed
There are three shifts available:-
6.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.    -   £8. 21 per hour
2.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.  -   £8.54 per hour
10.00 pm. - 06.00 p.m. -   £9.03 per hour
Plus 5% bonus
Inductions are held every Thursday 11.00a.m. - 3.00 pm. for which payment will be made when employment is commenced

Customer Services

Greeting customers, listening to requests, scheduling appointments, estimating costs and answering queries
Communication with customers regarding vehicle problems/issues
Communicating with technicians about the status of vehicles and ensuring that vehicles will be ready on time

Vehicle Collection & Handover Co-ordinator

Customer Services

Working with sales team to ensure customer collection appointments are well managed
Ensuring adequate inspections for all vehicles prior to customer collection
Working to a work schedule and planning own time and activity accordingly
Checking all documentation is present and correct, including V5, MOT, Servicing, Order Form, etc and ensuring they are ready for collection
Identifying any issues and ensuring they are rectified
Setting up documents and data checking
Upselling of products on collection e.g. service plans, warranties, GAP
Dealing with part-exchanges, moving cars and taking photographs
General adminisration work associated with pre-delivery inspection, handover and despatch of vehicles
Contacting customers after collection to resolve any issues and build an ongoing relationshp with the Company

Process Quality Specialist

Diagnose quality problems on process
Identify and implement the countermeasure to ensure flow stability
Audit quality control procedures on products and components
Support and supervise quality activities executed by production departments
Monitor and track quality issues and selected countermeasures on shift for the assigned area using standard shift support
Support PDCA development within structural group problem solving/continuous improvement meetings
Provide prompt intervention at production TLs Andon notification (HC L1) or LG request within the reference area/process
Escalate to help chain L2 in case of severe issues
Provide training and coaching on new/updated quality SOPs to production TMs and TLs for the assigned area
Check acquired knowledge of blue-collars along the manufacturing process after the execution of specific training
Maintain and update PQP as and when required
Manage supplier return process for the assigned area
