  • Contact brokers to ascertain if cover is in place;
  • Gather/collate key information such as inception date and cover purchased.
  • Set up new claims on the system ready for Handlers.
  • Process incoming and outgoing post as required.
  • Assist Claims Handling Staff as able e.g.:
  • Cover Checks;
  • Outgoing post;
  • Customer call backs; and more.
  • Triage incoming phone calls to the department:
  • Identify the urgency of the call;
  • Record the nature of the request;
  • Divert to the relevant business partner (e.g. legal advice line) or Handler as required.;
Assist with difficult customers and vulnerable customers as required.
