Customer Services Champion

Position: Temporary

The role of a customer champion is to be the face of our new organisation. You will act as the first point of contact on the customer journey, supporting customers via multiple channels (face to face, telephone, letter, email, portal). You will operate as a multi-functional customer services team. You will give accurate advice and guidance to customers, where possible resolving enquiries on a one and done basis. You will promote a range of additional services, whilst encouraging and coaching customers to self-serve, enabling and encouraging the use of digital channels.

Qualifications Required

• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Principles of good customer service.
• Excellent knowledge of a number of different services across the Councils.
• Values and promotes equality and diversity.
• Understand the principles of data protection.
