Health Improvement Co-Ordinator

Position: Temporary
Required to carry out a range of activities to support members of the Public Health Team by working within existing procedures and processes. Supporting the delivery of priority public health programmes through providing training, meeting and event co-ordination; supporting the delivery of health promotion communications, campaigns and resources to the public and partner services; and providing general project support and co-ordination across a variety of public health topic areas. Resolve routine problems and queries, escalating the more complex issues to others in the team.

Qualifications Required
Experience of using databases and Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Practical work experience to indicate a thorough understanding of the processes and practices required to work in a Public Health Team.
Awareness and general understanding of public health and health inequalities, including national and local context.
Experience of supporting campaigns and events to promote behaviour change.
Able to follow safeguarding, confidentiality and information governance protocols.
Must have an Enhanced DBS
