Health Improvement Co-Ordinator

Supporting the delivery of priority public health programmes through providing training, meeting and event co-ordination; supporting the delivery of health promotion communications, campaigns and resources to the public and partner services; and providing general project support and co-ordination across a variety of public health topic areas. Resolve routine problems and queries, escalating the more complex issues to others in the team.
To be a key contact for service users and providers of public health services across North Somerset.
Must have an enhanced DBS
NVQ level 2 or 3 units of qualification, or equivalent practical work experience, relating to health, public health, and/or social care
Experience of using databases and Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Practical work experience to indicate a thorough understanding of the processes and practices required to work in a Public Health Team.
Awareness and general understanding of public health and health inequalities, including national and local context.
Experience of supporting campaigns and events to promote behaviour change.
Experience of communicating electronically and verbally to a variety of audiences, including using social media and web-based communications.
