This assignment requires an individual with substantial experience of working within a strategic transport authority, passenger transport executive or equivalent public transport environment. Must have a strong understanding of the statutory functions and responsibilities of transport authorities, bus service delivery, partnership working, governance and organisational transformation.
The objective is to develop a future operating model than ensures compliance with statutory responsibilities, operational efficiency and appropriate structure and resources to deliver both current priorities and longer term transport ambitions.
