Our client in Portishead is looking for a Policy, Partnership and Commissioning Manager to join their team to develop and deliver policies, commissioning projects and plans that support delivery of client’s initiatives.

Your duties include:

  • Working with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders and partners to deliver against the programme aims.
  • Working on an innovative project.
  • Help shape local plans, lead and support projects, contracts and grants.
  • Support performance and development by utilising analytical and continuous improvement approaches to commissioning and service delivery.
  • Use a range of IT packages including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Manage a large and diverse portfolio of work with competing deadlines.

Other skills: 

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience or knowledge within a  local authority or public or voluntary sector organisation.
  • Analyse and present information in a range of formats
  • Ability to interpret data, policy, reports, research etc.
  • Project management.
  • Identify risks and make suggestions around how to mitigate and manage them.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm office based

Assignment length: temporary, approx. 11 months

Qualifications

Project Managerial Experience (Preferably public authority sector).
