As a Process Quality Engineer, your role will be to ensure a quality help chain for a group within a Value Stream.
Main duties include;
– Define the right counter-measure for risks highlighted by FMEAs in terms of tools (SPC, Poka-yoke, …) or methods to be put in place along the manufacturing process
– Design detailed Control Plans for Quality operations to be performed in critical points highlighted by FMEA studies or other
– Carry out defect detection & prevention activities
– Create control plans for FPA package of internally produced parts
– Create instructions for the application of tools such as 1st off/last off checks, delibera, SPC and others which can be included in standardised work instructions.
– Contribute to Poka-yoke design for specific application along the manufacturing process
– Set-up and maintain SPC station for control limits to be used based on process capability, control dimensions, sampling rules and others
– Analyse SPC data and highlight continuous improvement measures
– Actively lead continuous improvement activities and projects on Quality System/Tools
– Prepare and deliver quality training as and when required and including on the job training across the manufacturing process.
– Provide and ensure support for issue escalation process (HC)
